Block and item textures in this assets jar are taken from the resource pack
"Pixel Perfection Legacy", a fan continuation of XSSheep's "Pixel Perfection".

XSSheep's stated permission, quoted verbatim from the original thread:

"Feel free to use these textures in any mixpack, project, game or whatever
you want (paid or unpaid). However, I'd appreciate it if I was credited for
all the hard work I've put into these textures.

Licence obligations
-------------------
These textures are used under CC BY-SA 4.0. That means we must: credit XSSheep
as the original author and Nova_Wostra (with the further contributors above) as
authors of the continuation; state that the work is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0
and link to https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/; link back to the
source we took them from and indicate that we modified them (rescaling,
recolouring, cropping or re-cutting a texture all count as modification, and
each change should be flagged); keep this notice with every copy or
redistribution, including inside the shipped jar; not apply any DRM or extra
legal terms that would stop a recipient doing what the licence allows; and —
the share-alike part — distribute our own modified versions of these textures
under CC BY-SA 4.0 as well, which is why the texture assets ship as a separate
jar from the mod code rather than being mixed into it.

Modifications we made
---------------------
CC BY-SA 4.0 asks that every change be indicated. `1.12.2/textures.json` is the
per-file record: an entry carrying a `modified:` note is a file we changed after
importing it, and the note says what was done and when. Today that is:

  blocks/small_dripleaf_side, blocks/big_dripleaf_side
Redrawn 2026-09-09 from the pack's own dripleaf palette. The upstream
sprites are all but empty (0 and 3 opaque pixels of 256), which left the
leaf edge of our authored dripleaf models invisible and made the files
indistinguishable from Mojang's own. Derivative works of the pack, and
redistributed under CC BY-SA 4.0 like the rest of this jar.

  blocks/mangrove_leaves
Tinted 2026-09-23 by multiplying the pack's near-greyscale sprite by
vanilla's fixed mangrove foliage colour #92C648, because the catalogue
has no leaf tint. The alpha mask is unchanged. A derivative work of the
pack, and redistributed under CC BY-SA 4.0 like the rest of this jar.

Art of our own
--------------
Files whose `textures.json` entry reads `"source": "original"` are not from the
pack and are not covered by the attribution above:

  blocks/light — Borealis, 2026. The creative-inventory and break-particle icon
of the invisible `light` block, which has no upstream counterpart.
